NorCal MTB Skills Fundraiser
Ride for the Future: Support NorCal High School MTB Athletes at the NorCal MTB Skills Fundraiser!
Join us on April 27th, 2025, for an unforgettable day of mountain bike skill-building with Coach Brian Astell, while giving back to the next generation of riders in the NorCal Interscholastic Cycling League! This special fundraiser event, sponsored by TrailWorks, NorCal League, SplitRock Tap and Wheel, Leatt, SRAM Specialized, and MTB Girls Magazine, is designed for riders of all levels—from beginners to advanced shredders.
All proceeds go directly to the NorCal League, helping high school athletes gain access to coaching, equipment, and racing opportunities. As Coach Brian puts it, “Mountain biking changed my life, and this is my way of giving back—helping young riders discover their own strength and potential.”
What’s Included:
2.5-hour expert-led skills clinic
Drink ticket to celebrate post-ride at Splitrock Tap and Wheel
Raffle ticket for epic prizes (including a TrailWorks Destinations Trip Giveaway worth $2,500!)
Clinic Options & Schedule:
Beginner: 8:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Intermediate: 11:30 PM – 2:00 PM
Advanced: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM
Start Location: SplitRock Tap and Wheel in Fairfax, CA
Ride Location: White Hill School/ Tamorancho/Hobo (possibly solstice)
Cost: $100 per person
Capacity: Limited to 20 riders per clinic
